About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this fresh red wine 2018 Badiola Tempranillo de Laderas Rioja DOCa. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Península Vinicultores has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and fertile landscape of the Upper Ebro. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Tempranillo is ideal to be served with pizza or lasagna.
Tasting note
Color: Clear ruby red with violet reflections. Aromatics: The ripe fruity and spicy aromas of red cherries and berries, dried plums, thyme, eucalyptus, tobacco, licorice and undergrowth. Body: A long, soft dry start is followed by an interplay of acidity and tannins and aromas of red berries, tobacco and licorice, as well as a long finish with a present acidity. Quality: A versatile, convincing wine for everyday use.
