About the wine
Do you already know the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon Barnreiser Cuvee? If not, it's time! Sunny landscapes in Carnuntum give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Austrian Weingut Grassl conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Cabernet Sauvignon is very good to serve with ribeye steak or pizza with mushrooms.

Tasting note
Dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate brightening. A touch of sweet spices, dark berry fruit, hints of blackberry jam, some cassis and licorice, tobacco and nougat in the background. Juicy, complex, fine chocolate touch, black berries, fine tannins, extract-sweet aftertaste, sticks well, good length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dark venison, steaks and other dark meats such as lamb, as well as mature cheeses.
