About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Albino Rocca masteres this red wine in the fertile and picturesque countryside of Piedmont. With this outstanding Nebbiolo 2014 — Barbaresco DOCG, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Nebbiolo can be served very well with burrata or prosciutto.

Tasting note
On the nose, fruity aromas of cherries and red berries, which intensify on the palate. The juicy fruit of dried cherries, roses, cranberries and rose hips is framed by well-structured tannins, which gives the wine its robust body.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, game and Mediterranean cuisine.
Vinification
Pure Nebbiolo aged for two years in 2,000 liter barrels. The oak wood comes from Germany and Austria.
