About the wine
Fertile and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which Angelo Gaja conjures up this red wine with great refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this nebbiolo with truffle risotto or pizza.
Tasting note
The Barolo Dagromis has a deep color and smells intensely of wild berries and floral notes. In the mouth, you can feel the firm yet velvety soft, elegant structure. It reflects the opposite of an uncouth powerhouse. Due to the longer aging period in the wine cellar, it is available at an early age.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes perfectly with burrata, pizza and truffle risotto. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2021.
Vinification
The Barolo Dagromis comes from Nebbiolo vineyards in the municipalities of Serralunga and La Morra. After 3 weeks of maceration in steel tanks, aging takes place for 12 months in barriques and for 18 months in large oak barrels.
