Gourmets who live their passion without even thinking about a business - which then starts innocently. For Niko Dukan, tastings and vineyard visits are followed by letters, for Kreso Petrekovic, the import of his beloved Croatian wines to New York - today perhaps the largest natural wine retailer in the USA. Together, the two created Karakterre, the most important salon for natural wines in 2012, and then finally responded to the call of the vines and make their own wine alone and together in projects. At Vinas Mora, they are looking for the best, barren soils, surrounded by loosely piled walls, so that even some ground support forms when protected from the wind. Together with the winegrowers, they do as little as possible in the vineyard and cellar and bring the passionate, joyfully crazy side of the autochthonous Babiæ into the bottle. Terroir wines - which reflect soil, vines and culture like hardly any other, a gift!
