About the wine
This wonderful Barbera d'Alba comes from the original house of Barolo. In the old Piedmontese dialect, the word “Peiragal” describes a steep hill. Winegrowers have always known that the most aromatic grapes grow on these stony soils.
Tasting note
This fruity, full-bodied and sustainable wine presents a ruby red color. The bouquet is balanced with notes of blackberry, strawberry and vanilla, plus roasty aspects of biscuit. It is dry, aromatic and fresh and shows a juicy, full-bodied and wonderfully harmonious palate structure, velvety tannins and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef with light sauces and lamb with dark sauces.
