About the wine

A few kilometers from Alba, in the heart of the Roero area, near the town of Canale, is the Azienda Agricola Malvirà. A family business, as it says in the Italian picture book: The Damonte brothers grow quality wines on the farm that their father founded. The two share a passion for wine and complement each other wonderfully: Massimo is responsible for the vines and Roberto for the cellar. The whole family works together to produce the wines from seven vineyards, which owe their characteristic mineral freshness to the typical sandy, calcareous soil.
