About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Enzo Bartoli is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing countryside of Piedmont. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Barbera is very good to serve with stews or hearty, dark meat.
Tasting note
Deep red robe with purple accents. An elegant, concentrated wine with notes of red berries, cherries, spices and hints of vanilla and licorice. Fruity on the palate, with fresh acidity and balanced tannins and a long, silky finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Piedmontese cuisine such as agnolotti, grilled meat, pot roast or mature cheese.
Vinification
In oak barrels for at least 14 months.
