About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Marchesi Alfieri has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and blooming landscape of Piedmont. Nuances and accents are redefined with the biting red wine 2015 — Barbera d'Asti superiore Alfiera DOC. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Barbera can be served very well with Piedmontese dishes or stews.

Tasting note
Deep ruby color with garnet red reflections. Intense bouquet reminiscent of ripe cherries, plums and forest fruits with a perfect balance of vanilla and cocoa. The palate is full and juicy at the same time with a long and fruity finish. Good storage potential.
