About the wine
Do you already know the snappy Nebbiolo Barolo Dagromis DOCG with the 2014 vintage? If not, it's time! Blooming and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Angelo Gaja conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Nebbiolo is excellent to serve with burrata or pizza.
Tasting note
The Barolo Dagromis has a deep color and smells intensely of wild berries and floral notes. In the mouth, you can feel the firm yet velvety soft, elegant structure. It reflects the opposite of an uncouth powerhouse. Due to the longer aging period in the wine cellar, it is available at an early age.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler tip: Barolo Dagromis DOCG goes well with burrata, truffle risotto and prosciutto.
Vinification
The Barolo Dagromis comes from Nebbiolo vineyards in the municipalities of Serralunga and La Morra. After 3 weeks of maceration in steel tanks, aging takes place for 12 months in barriques and for 18 months in large oak barrels.
