About the wine
A hearty Barolo from Lorenzo Olivero's small family business. Only almost 3,000 bottles are produced per year, but with the utmost care and dedication. Priceless actually!
Tasting note
The aromas of the Barolo DOCG Bricco Rocca from anise express a lot of complexity with a very special structure. The floral nuances of roses and cherries then reveal their own character. A fruity red wine with a strong body and outstanding acidity, which develops its complex structure vigorously with rich tannins on the tongue and palate.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with red meat, game and braised beef dishes. Ideal with haute cuisine dishes due to its tannin-rich component that refreshes the mouth. Traditionally served with mature hard cheese and blue cheese, it's also worth a try with dark chocolate.
