About the wine
Treat your guests to this 2015 Nebbiolo - Barolo Prapò DOC. The Ettore Germano, which has been run by the 4th generation in the Italian Piedmont since 1856, is a well-known family winery. Tasting note
The Barolo Prapò smells of dark berries, forest soil and slightly of roses and some violets. On the palate, the powerful fruit of black cherries and some licorice is followed by elegant tannins and a hearty finish with a warm spicy note.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with truffles, brasato di manzo, lamb gigot, wide pasta with porcini mushrooms, pies and well-aged cheeses.
Vinification
The Ettore Germano winery has been cultivating its top Barolos from the individual vineyards Prapò, Cerretta and Lazzarito for four generations. In addition, a world-renowned Riesling called Herzu. Year after year, the winery is rewarded with top marks from Gambero Rosso and Robert Parker for their outstanding work.
