The first vintage of Basel-supplier Chardonnay shines in bright golden yellow. The nose has elegant aromas of yellow fruits, lemon zest, green apple, light floral accents, some beeswax and slightly toasty notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and straight with lots of citrus fruit, a light wood spice, a racy but well-integrated acid structure and a noticeable minerality. A great debut that is great fun to drink young but can easily mature for a few years.
