About the wine

Cantina Gungui is located in Mamoiada, a picturesque town in the Sardinian province of Nuoro. The small business is run by Luca Gungui, who had completed a degree and then worked in faraway Milan, but in the end could no longer resist the call of his family and returned home. He has never regretted it and loves working in the vineyard and cellar. Luca cultivates two hectares of sixty-year-old Cannonau vines in Sas de Melas, not far from Mamoiada. Luca consistently refrains from using chemicals. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with our own yeasts.
