He's a charming guy. Very unpretentious and extremely engaging, without hustle and bustle, ripe sweet pear, even apple. Nice richness and yet very down-to-earth, of course in its kind, sweet-tart character. Gentle and thoroughly honest on the palate, harmonious and soft, sweet light fruit here too, without an urge to ascribe, exerts no pressure, but doesn't bend either, comes across as fresh and tart, a little nutty and dark earth in the background, because that's the way it is, and that's the way it should be, the white Merlot from Tessin. Don't drink too cold!
