Scheiblhofer is very self-confident. The company's claim is simply “The Wine.” The company founder Johann provocatively called his best red “Big John.” The irony of history: The etiquette adorns the Great Bustard, a giant bird native to Andau.

Tasting note
The refreshing scent spectrum of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows aromatic complexity and a lot of finesse. The dominant nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper shape their individual texture. A fruity red wine with a strong body and dominant acidity, which unfolds its complex structure in a balanced way with finely developed tannins on the tongue and palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty home cooking, roasted dark meat and grilled vegetables.
