Deeply shiny red in the glass. On the nose, lots of fruit and memories of cherry cake, blackcurrant candies. On the palate, wonderful tension between acidity and beautifully mature tannins. The wonderful aromas of red fruits and sliced tobacco leaves are inviting. The Penfolds Bin 407 is elegant and has an almost infinitely long finish. A nice piece of grilled meat with a poem!
