Intense, dense black red with violet reflections. Very dense and wonderfully complex on the nose. Ripe, dark berries, plums, “Mon Chéri”, mild tobacco, coffee, menthol, a hint of coconut and vanilla. On the palate, the colossus is massive and very full-bodied. And yet the wine, with all its richness, appears very elegant, almost filigree. Lavish roasted aromas, ripe dark fruit, wonderfully supple tannins and an almost endless aromatic persistence in the finish.
