About the wine
What Markus Schneider has achieved in recent years is hard to believe. In 1994, it started from scratch, so to speak. And today, 22 years later, he and his team work on over 92 hectares, bottles around 800,000 bottles a year and is described by the German trade press as The Phenomenon and The Favorite of the Young Scene.

Tasting note
Strong ruby red color, aromatic variety of ripe red and black fruits, spices and aromatic herbs. Wonderfully fresh on the palate, juicy, dense and spicy. Despite all its concentration, the wine remains surprisingly elegant, with silky and ripe tannins.
Vinification
Hand picking of highly ripe and healthy grapes, traditional mash fermentation in a wooden fermentation vat and red wine fermenter, with a standing time of 14 weeks. Gentle pressing under low pressure. Then aging in wooden barrels.
