About the wine
North and east of the Gironde and Dordogne are the calcareous, gravelly soils that offer the winemaker from the French winery Château L'Evangile everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Merlot can be served very well with slightly spicy, red meat or duck.
Tasting note
Strong body and distinctive acidity result in the fruity red wine, which harmoniously shows a lot of character and class with fine tannins in the mouth.
