About the wine
I Luoghi is a small up-and-coming wine producer from the Bolgheri DOC zone. The company is located in Castagneto Carducci (LI), on 3.5 ha of vineyards, very authentic wines are made. Under the leadership of Stefano Granata, who decided to work as a winegrower in 2000 more on an impulse than on market analysis considerations, I Luoghi only produces around 15,000 bottles a year. The yields are deliberately kept very low (approx. 450 520 gr. per m²). Wines are produced here without compromises that reflect the characters of the people involved. Quality is not simply a goal but a result of the unconditional commitment of Stefano Granata and his people.
Tasting note
Campo al Fico has a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it is very complex with sweet, spicy and mineral notes, which are accompanied by aromas such as blackberry, currant and blueberry. Nice structure on the palate with velvety tannins. Elegant, intense and long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation

Vinification
The mash fermentation takes around 20 days. The wine is then aged for 20 months in new French oak barriques and in the bottle for at least 10 months before being sold.
