About the wine
The vines used to make this homage to California's brave gold miners and winegrowing pioneers are 60 to over 100 years old. Strong, fruity, spicy, soft and sweet!

Tasting note
Brick red to dark purple in the glass, with seductive aromas of dried plums, sour cherry jam and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the taste of blackberries, dark chocolate and some licorice is revealed. Despite strong, spicy tannins, the finish is soft and fruity.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 1-4 years. Flaschenpost team recommends this Boneshaker Zinfandel to accompany Gruyère burgers, ribeye steak and red meat.
Vinification
The wine ages for 16 months before it is sold. 60% of it in new French oak barrels.
