About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Boschendal conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 — Boschendal Black Angus Limited release, nuances and accents are redefined. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal to be served with red meat or ribeye steak.
Tasting note
The wine enchants with a beautiful ruby red color and the first impression of berry and plum aromas overlaid with winter spices and roasted cocoa beans. The entry is smooth and rich, leading to lush ripe mulberry, black cherry and cassis flavours, seasoned with black pepper and oak on the palate. The finish is long and persistent, with an enormous texture and persistent fruit concentration.
Culinary recommendation
