About the wine
New! The Maison Champy was founded in 1720 and is therefore the oldest winery in Burgundy. Located in the heart of the historic town of Beaune, Maison Champy is internationally known for the outstanding quality of its Grand Crus of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. In order to preserve the vineyards and exceptional terroirs, the winery is converting to organic farming.

Tasting note
Clear golden yellow. On the nose, intense aromas of exotic fruits, white flowers and caramel. Fresh on the palate, with opulent body and aromas of pineapple, melon and vanilla as well as fine notes of toast. Balanced acidity and a round finish. Goes wonderfully with an aperitif with smoked salmon or with a risotto.
