Tasting note
Ruby red color. On the nose, scents of ripe red fruits and black cherries, but also spicy notes and balsamic notes. The taste is warm, elegant and spicy. Long-lasting aftertaste with a fruity aftertaste, the typical characteristics of the Brolio terroir.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with beef goulash, grilled lamb chops or mature cheeses.
Vinification
Traditionally, in small stainless steel containers. The peel maceration takes 14-16 days at a temperature of 24°C-27°C. Aging for 18 months in large barrels. This is followed by static decantation and bottle aging for at least 3 months.
