About the wine
The winemaker from the South African winery Graham Beck has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this sparkling wine, which originates in the sunny and beautiful landscape of the Breede River Valley. There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends to a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal once again and we recommend this dominant sparkling wine to go with it. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this sparkling wine with fish dishes or shellfish.

Tasting note
From a soft silvery pink color with a fine perlage on the edge of the glass, the Graham Beck Method Cap Classique Brut Rosé flows into the glass. Aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries as well as a hint of minerality rise to the nose. On the palate, it presents a lively mousse - berry notes and subtle hints of oyster shell wash around the tongue. Flirtatious, smart and elegant with a well-balanced structure!
Culinary recommendation
The ideal sparkling wine for an aperitif with oysters and small tapas.
Vinification
The grapes for this sparkling wine were pressed all over the bunch. Only the highest quality juice was approved for further processing and fermented. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were vinified separately. After the fermentation was complete, the two wines were blended, slightly refined and bottled. The wine spent an extended period of time on the lees to develop subtle yeast notes with hints of berries and cherries
