About the wine

Picturesque and fertile landscapes in Sardinia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Mesa conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. This dominant red wine 2017 — Buio DOC Carignano del Sulcis crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this carignan with turkey or game dishes.

Tasting note
Bright ruby red, rich and elegant nose with notes of ripe red fruits, Mediterranean herbs and spicy spices. Lively, juicy and meaty on the palate. Behind them are powerful but not aggressive tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Delicious with tuna and grilled red meat.
Vinification
Fermentation 9 - 12 days at 26°C. After tapping, the wine ages in steel tanks for at least 6 months.
