About the wine
The family company Azienda Agricola Enzo Boglietti has been pressing its own grapes since 1991. The typical varieties of the region now grow on 22 hectares. The winery has made a name for itself in the wine world with Barolo aged in Neuholz, France for a very long time. In the meantime, the wines have tended to become more delicate and elegant again, and are still in the top league in the Barolo area.

Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red, nose with aromas of cherries, plums and violets, undergrowth and liquorice notes paired with spicy fruit on the palate. A well-balanced body with prominent tannins and a strong finish.
Culinary recommendation
An ideal accompaniment to hearty dishes, such as lamb, game and mushrooms.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks for 12 days, battonage twice a day. Ageing over 18 months in barriques, including 40% new and 30% second and third occupancy, 4 months in steel tanks and at least 2 months in bottle.
