About the wine

Ric Forman founded his winery in 1983 to fulfill his big dream of producing classic Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignon as sole owner. His model is Bordeaux. With constant personal commitment, he accompanies his wines from the grape to the maturation in the bottle.

Tasting note
Beautiful floral notes on the nose, but also very spicy. On the palate, cassis, currant and cherry, tobacco and some undergrowth. Fine sweetness, very nice long finish, very Bordaux like!
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Cabernet Sauvignon Napa goes well with Gruyère burgers, pizza with mushrooms and red meat. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The following period is the ideal phase of enjoyment for this wine: 2016 - 2031.
Vinification
Green harvesting (thinning) in summer, selective hand picking, maceration and fermentation in small steel tanks (20 to 30 days). Aging in new French barriques (18 to 20 months).
