About the wine
David Ramey earned his spurs in some world-famous farms before founding his own winery in Healdsburg/Sonoma County in 1996. Château Pétrus and Dominus, for example, are among his list of references. He combines the methods of the old world with innovation from the new world, creating wines that are characterized by incredible balance and longevity.

Tasting note
In the beginning, wonderful aromas of fruit cake, espresso, chocolate and cassis. Very concentrated and mineral on the palate. The wine has a super nice texture. Great cinema, as they say. The finish is still quite youthful, but with harmonious tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard is ideal with pizza with mushrooms, red meat and ribeye steak. Our recommendation: The white wine tastes best at slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2016 - 2034.
Vinification
Very selective hand picking, spontaneous fermentation. The expansion for a period of 26 months takes place in new French barriques. The wines are then bottled unfiltered.
