About the wine
The winemaker from the Austrian winery Hannes Reeh masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the picturesque landscape of Burgenland. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with ribeye steak or pizza with mushrooms.

Tasting note
Complex bouquet with aromas of dark berries, cassis and cocoa, spicy underlined with fine notes of roasted red pepper, tobacco and a subtle eucalyptus touch. Complex body with lots of depth, gripping tannins and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
With its strong structure, it goes well with grilled cuisine, such as spare ribs, lamb chops, rib eye, grilled peppers, zucchini and corn. Also excellent with stews and game.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: Picked by hand and then spontaneous fermentation in INOX stainless steel tanks. This Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in used and new barriques. His “Unplugged” wines are, as he puts it, “produced without any frills, but with a great feeling for the beat of nature.” This means: No pure-bred yeasts for fermentation, no enzymes, no fining agents and, in good years, no filtration.
