Dark garnet red - the nose is dominated by classic cabernet notes of cassis and prunes, herbs and a touch of smoked meat. Spicy notes of cedarwood and cigar box kick off on the palate, before a complex “mélange” of red and black berry aromas takes over the sceptre. The wine has lots of freshness, a medium-bodied body and tannins appropriate to the grape variety. The aftertaste is pleasantly strong and also reflects the masculine character of the Cabernet.
