About the wine
The winemaker from Austrian Weingut Gager Josef has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of Burgenland. With the delicious Cablot Cuvée from 2016, you will positively surprise your friends.
Tasting note
In the glass, a deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core; inviting bouquet of ripe berries, tobacco, coffee and a fine roasted aroma. The powerful body balances a dark-berry fruit with a firm tannin structure and ends in a long-lasting finish. The power combined with the strong character structure brings a great deal of maturation potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat with strong sauces, grilled meats and wild fowl, risotto and pasta, as well as hard and soft cheeses. Braised vegetable dishes also go well with the wine.

16 months in new barriques.
