About the wine

The world-famous Terrabianca, in the heart of Tuscany, is being led into a new era by the Adriana family and Urs Burkard, with Italian and Swiss roots. The winery is one of the most popular and probably the most famous wineries in the region. The success story began with Roberto and Maya Guldener, who launched the bold project in Radda in Chianti in 1988. The winery had quickly reached world-class levels. The picturesque Arillo in Terrabianca is surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and forest. A further 36 hectares planted with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are located in Maremma near Massa Marittima. Adriana and Urs, with their passion and uncompromising quality thinking combined with unique vineyards in their prime, guarantee the highest quality and a promise for surprising new projects.
