About the wine
A must for connoisseurs, this fresh Tempranillo 2004 — Campillo Rioja DOCa Gran Reserva! Fertile and enchanting landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Campillo conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this tempranillo with red meat or lasagna.
Tasting note
Color: Cherry red with a hint of purple; Bouquet: After gentle aeration, the aromas open up with lush notes of red fruits, rounded off by a hint of oak; Palate: Good start with moderate acidity, followed by a lot of body with a strong tannin structure and a pleasantly long finish.
Culinary recommendation
A good accompaniment to any type of meat, but above all to grilled meats and ragouts of red meat, mushrooms and truffle dishes as well as various types of cheese.
