About the wine
Do you already know the dominant Chardonnay Cara Nord Blanco with the 2013 vintage? If not, it's time! You can describe nature in Catalonia with words such as barren. However, the Spanish winery Cara Nord Celler is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Chardonnay can be served very well with asparagus or truffles.
Tasting note
Pale golden yellow. On the nose, intense floral notes and aromas of citrus fruits, green apple and pears. Harmonious fruit aromas on the palate, supported by a pronounced minerality. A great accompaniment to fish dishes and seafood.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seafood, paella and risotto.
Vinification
Vinified in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 3 months in stainless steel tanks on the fine yeast.
