About the wine

The Sauternes appellation stretches on the left bank of the Garonne, about 50 km south of Bordeaux. The natural moisture from the Ciron River provides ideal conditions for the development of Botrytis cinerea, also known as noble rot.

Château RieussecSweet wine | 75cl13.582% Sémillon, 16% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Muscadelle
Tasting note
Notes of rhubarb, peach and white flowers. On the palate, it is light yet rich. The start is fresh, with the same rhubarb as in the bouquet. The soft finish is characterized by buttery notes and a touch of nutmeg.
