About the wine
With the mild sparkling wine — Cava Reserva brut, nuances and accents are redefined. You can describe nature in Catalonia with words such as barren. However, the Spanish winery Agustí Torelló Mata is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this sparkling wine. We think he succeeded! Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this sparkling wine with risotto or polenta.
Tasting note
In addition to beautiful gooseberry and pear aromas, the bouquet also shows a hint of grass. The body is dominated by strong acidity, then the fruit emerges and the wine gains volume.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, freshwater fish and pork.
Vinification
A blend of Parellada, Macabeo and Xarello, fermented in steel tanks and aged in bottles for 24 months.
