About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Miguel Torres has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the hallmarks of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and graceful landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). The fresh Tempranillo 2014 — Celeste Reserva Ribera del Duero DO is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. Tasting note
Celeste Riserva matured for 15 months in American and French barriques. Attractive bouquet, aromas of violets, tobacco, leather, currants. On the palate, compact, dense, rounded tannins, complex and extremely noble. The perfect accompaniment to dark meat.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Celeste Reserva Ribera del Duero DO goes well with lasagna, red meat and polenta. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2025.
Vinification
Aging for 15 months in American and French barriques. Before it goes on sale, it matures in the bottle for another 21 months.
