About the wine
The loamy, gravelly soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Louis Michel everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. The dominant Chardonnay 2015 — Chablis Montmain 1er cru AC is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with fish with herbs or truffles.
Tasting note
The wines from the Montmain vineyard are particularly fine and balanced with notes of citrus fruits or white flowers in their youth. They give off a combination of ripe, candied aromas and fresher, salty notes. The palate features spicy, floral aromas, roasted almonds, candied lemon and apple. The wine is very lively, chalky, pure and accessible, without artificiality.
