Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne, founded in 1584. The top address with the best premier and grand cru locations on the unique chalk troir of Champagne clearly emphasizes tradition and classics, but also its own style. Gosset is also considered an actual stylist with long-lasting, lively champagnes with balance and creamy, fine mousse. The limited edition of the 12 Ans de Cave a Minima, half Chardonnay and half Pinot Noir, consists largely of wines from 2006 and was on the lees for 12 years. The wine has a fine, delicate perlage, shows notes of toast, nuts and brioche, is complex and has a long finish. Winemaker Odilon de Varine advises decanting this champagne after opening.
