The winemaker from the French winery Mandois greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Champagne countryside. The dominant sparkling wine — Champagne Mandois Brut Zero is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this sparkling wine with shellfish or aperitifs.
Tasting note
The harmonious composition of the three types of wine, Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir, from 13 renowned locations, gives this Cuvée de Réserve Brut a discreet fruit and remarkable balance. The nose reveals discreet notes of tropical fruits and on the palate it leaves a round, beautiful and dry finish.
Culinary recommendation
For connoisseurs and those who would like to try something special. Goes well with light fish dishes in sauce, seafood, rabarb mousse or just for in between.
Vinification
Brut Zero or Brut Nature is a champagne without dosage, i.e. without the addition of sugar during bottling. This cuvée was left on the fine yeast for approx. 4 years before it was disgorged.
