About the wine
A champagne with personality! Old vines and the Réserve Perpétuelle process create a wonderful complexity.
Tasting note
Light golden in color with an aromatic and pure nose of citrus and ripe yellow fruits. Yeast notes of pastry and vanilla. Fresh, dry on the palate (extra brut) with fine perlage and plenty of fullness. The complex champagne ends for a long time with fine brioche notes.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Champagne Meunier Perpétuel Extra Brut AC goes well with veal tenderloin, lamb loin and risotto.
Vinification
Fermentation with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit and freshness. 50% of the fineness and depth is based on a stable Solera wine reserve, which consists of all harvests from 1992 to 2020 and 50% from the 2020 vintage. This champagne, from a selection of plots of Pinot Meunier, is aged on the lees for at least three years and then receives a dosage of 5g/l.
