About the wine
The La Grande Dame is an homage to Madame Clicquot, who was considered the Grande Dame of champagne in her time. After its creation in 1962, it was launched on the market for the first time in 1972, and thus on the 200th anniversary of Veuve Clicquot. Like no other champagne, La Grande Dame not only embodies the expertise of Veuve Clicquot, it also reflects the excellent quality of the terroir.
Tasting note
La Grande Dame 2015 is essentially made from eight of the house's historic Grands Crus. The dominance of Pinot Noir, the house's signature, gives it the characteristic power of Veuve Clicquot.
