About the wine
As a young man, Friedrich Becker dared to break with the parental tradition of the cooperative business and fill his own wines. This has become one of the best producers in the Palatinate and currently the best Pinot Noir winemaker in Germany. After Becker had already started talking about his clear, acidic white wine style in the 1980s, his collaboration with cellar master Stefan Dorst spurred him on to make constant improvements in red wine.

Tasting note
Medium lemon yellow. The nose is fine and discreet with aromas of citrus fruits, pome fruit and light roasted aromas. Juicy palate, unbelievable complexity with crisp, mineral and stony notes. A Chardonnay with very good aging potential and a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Chardonnay Mineral goes well with goat cheese, soft cheese and poultry.
Vinification
The grapes were carefully selected by hand, destemmed and gently juiced. The controlled fermentation and further expansion took place in 228 liter oak barrels made of the finest French oak. After extensive yeast storage, the wine was bottled in late 2019.
