Scent of ripe yellow fruit, lovely woody notes. Monumental but very fine on the palate, acid power, lots of cool melts, chalky and mural, white pears, apricots, honey-vanilla notes, flowers, lots of mouth-filling finesse and big dimensions. Very dry Salty minerality despite the large volume... Very, very long in the aftertaste. Great Burgundy vintage. Great aging potential. This wine is in no way inferior to many Lagen-Mersault! Brilliant price/pleasure ratio.
