About the wine
An extremely friendly family business, committed to wine since 1938. Ron and Jamie McManis founded the winery themselves in 1990. Their vineyards are located in and around River Junction, an appellation reserved almost exclusively for them and McManis Land. The classic Syrah is aged in French and American barriques. Ripe aromas of dark berries and plums with a fine vanilla note... spicy and complex on the palate. A perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine.
