About the wine
David Ramey earned his spurs in some world-famous businesses before founding his own winery in Healdsburg/Sonoma County in 1996. Château Pétrus and Dominus, for example, are on his list of references. He combines old-world methods with innovation from the new world, creating wines that are characterised by incredible balance and longevity.

Tasting note
Medium straw yellow Complex nose of roasted aromas, apricots, spices and baked apples. Elegant mouthfeel with lots of fruit and great depth of flavor thanks to refreshing acidity.

Vinification
Very selective hand reading The grapes are then pressed very gently without destemming and fermented spontaneously. The aging on fine yeast (with bâtonnage) takes place in around 10% new barrels from Burgundy, for a period of 12 months before it is bottled without filtration.
