About the wine
The winemaker from the South African winery Boschkloof grows this wine in the countryside. Christmas 2018 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this dominant white wine 2017 — Chardonnay! Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Chardonnay with poultry or goat cheese.

Tasting note
A complex yet fresh wine with aromas of citrus, lime and a hint of apricot. Elegant aromas of citrus fruits integrated with subtle notes of oak that add dimension to the palate. Good fruit and balanced with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish.
Vinification
35% of the hand-picked grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and 65% in 225l French oak barrels. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine was stored on the lees for 10 months with regular battonage before being blended before bottling.
