About the wine
With the dominant Chardonnay 2013 — Chassagne-Montrachet ac blanc M.-Grivot M.O., you can offer your family and friends something very special. The calcareous, shale soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Moillard-Grivot knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with poultry or soft cheese.
Tasting note
Color: light lemon yellow. Aromatics: Intense aromas of yellow fruits, citrus fruits and acacia flowers. Body: The long soft start is followed by an expressive, full-bodied body. Very complex and elegant on the finish, with notes of citrus fruits and fine aromas. Quality: Balanced and full-bodied wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled seafood, crustaceans and fish as well as light cheeses such as: camembert, bries or goat cheese.
